Elon Musk recommended the two X accounts on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Later in the day Elon Musk deleted the post, apparently after learning that the two accounts had bad reputations. According to an article by Joeseph Menn in the Washington Post, both accounts have a historical record of spreading false or unverified information. @WarMonitors has posted content that is considered anti-semitic.
According to Menn, both accounts posted the false information in May 2023 that there had been an explosion at the White House. However another article in the Washington Post describes a fake report of an explosion at the Pentagon, but not the White House on May 22, 2023.

It is also worth following direct sources on the ground. Please add interesting options in replies below.”
