Grad rockets were fired at Be’er Sheva, Israel Wednesday, several hours after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) shot at a group of militants on the Gaza border, injuring 11. According to Palestinian sources, the Israel Air Force retaliated late Wednesday with in air strike in eastern Gaza City.
The Grad rocket strikes mark the first time Be’er Sheva has been hit since the Gaza war in 2009.
On the Palestinian side, three children were reported hurt, and eight members of the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad were reported injured. shrapnel wounds were also reported on the Palestinian side.
